The biology minor covers a comprehensive understanding of the major areas of biology, practice in laboratory methods and critical thinking skills, and knowledge about areas where biology is likely to affect your everyday life.
This program is part of the School of Natural Science & Mathematics.
The minor in biology requires 18 credit hours of course work; at least 8 credit hours must be completed on the IU East campus. All courses for the minor must be completed with a grade of C or better. Successful completion of BIOL-L 102 – Intro to Biological Science II is required before enrolling in other biology courses.
