Your health and safety are important to us. As a result, face masks are to be worn in all classrooms and common areas on campus.

We understand that everyone may not have their own masks. To help you, IU East will provide face masks. You may also wear your own.

Yes, you are permitted to bring your own hand sanitizer or wipes for your own use.

Classrooms, Offices & Public Spaces

Once the fall semester begins, many campus offices will be open with physical distancing guidelines in place. However, some offices may continue to work remotely. You are encouraged to call ahead and/or schedule an appointment.

Yes. The Campus Bookstore plans to re-open with physical distancing guidelines in place.

Yes, campus resources, such as the library and computer labs, will be available with physical distancing restrictions in place.

Students who have individual needs where special accommodations may be helpful should consult with the Office of Accessibility Services at


When possible, some activities may be held outside. To accommodate physical distancing guidelines other student events, programs, and activities may be held virtually. 

IU East is actively working with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the River States Conference (RSC) to plan for the fall athletics season. IU East will ensure that appropriate campus health and safety guidelines in place.
