If you stop showing up towards the end of the semester

If you don’t attend a class during the last part of the semester, and you don’t officially drop the class, you’ll receive an F in the class. If your lack of attendance is due to extenuating circumstances, it is your responsibility to contact your instructor to discuss your options (which may include a grade of Incomplete (I)).

Failing to officially withdraw from a class can also affect your financial aid eligibility.

If you don't show up at the beginning of the semester

You’re expected to attend all of your classes and complete all required course activities and assignments. Make sure you officially drop a course if necessary, rather than just not attending classes.
