Step 1: Submit your application
It's easy! Note that the undergraduate application covers all IU campuses, so be sure to select IU East as your home campus.
If you get interrupted or have questions, you can save your progress and complete it at a later time. Let's get started:
Send your completed application to the Office of Admissions by email to applynow@iue.edu or by mail to: IU East Office of Admissions, 2325 Chester Blvd, Richmond, IN 47374.
If you have applied to IU East in the last 12 months, contact us to update your application!

Step 2: Submit Required Documents
The documents you need to submit depend on your academic background:

To process your application, we must have:
- an official high school transcript (contact your High School and request that they mail it to IU East in a sealed envelope or utilize an electronic transcript service) OR official TASC, GED, or HSE test scores (contact the organization that provided your test to submit scores to IU East).
If you have taken:
- Dual Credit courses, be sure to request an official transcript from the institution where the courses were taken to be sent to IU East.
- AP, CLEP, or DSST Exams, request that your official scores be sent to IU East from the testing agency.
- the SAT or ACT, be sure to check out the test-optional page to learn more. Some scholarships do require these test scores.

To process your application, we must have:
- your official college transcript(s). In order for transcripts to be considered official, the transcripts must come directly from each previously attended institution(s) to IU East. Contact the Registrar's office of each college or university you attended (not necessary if you earned IU college credit) and request that they mail a transcript to IU East electronically at applynow@iue.edu or by mail to: Indiana University East, Attn: Office of Admissions, 2325 Chester Blvd, Richmond, IN 47374.

If you have taken:
- Fewer than 12 credit hours, please submit your official high school transcript (contact your High School and request that they mail it to IU East in a sealed envelope or utilize an electronic transcript service) OR official TASC, GED, or HSE test scores (contact the organization that provided your test to submit scores to IU East).
- Dual Credit courses in high school, be sure to request an official transcript from the institution where the courses were taken to be sent to IU East.
- AP, CLEP, or DSST Exams, request that your official scores be sent to IU East from the testing agency.
The Indiana University system enables students with good academic standing to transfer easily among the eight campuses as an intercampus transfer student. You will complete the normal IU application, but will not have to submit additional documentation or transcripts unless notified otherwise (or you have taken classes at a non-IU institution since you left your previous IU campus).

Now what?
Once we've received your application and all required documents, we'll review your application and provide an update on your application within 1-2 weeks.
