Graf Center

The Graf Center is the main space to hang out on campus, where many student events are hosted. It features:

  • Brewfus (Coffee Bar)
  • Entrance to the Reid Wellness Zone (Fitness Center)

  • Printing Station
  • Charging Station (courtesy of the SGA)

The Graf Center is in Springwood Hall on the first floor.

First Bank Richmond Tech Zone & IQ Wall

Located in the Whitewater Hall Lobby, this nook is perfect for tech centric gatherings, group projects, and/or study sessions. Student organizations often host video game events here! The Tech Zone features:

  • The IQ Wall, a 13' x 9' screen with computer that you can log into anytime with your IU credentials!
  • Ample power sources
  • Tables & workspaces
  • Comfortable seating

Information Commons

The Information Commons in Hayes Hall, Room 115, features: 

  • a collaborative workstation (use the available computer or plug your device into a large monitor, plug in your own devices, and gather up to 5 people comfortably around the table),
  • 22 Windows workstations,
  • adjoining walk-up IT help desk and CrimsonCard office,
  • and a color printer, scanner and copier.

There are additional technology labs in other buildings on campus.

Library

Not just a quiet place to study... in addition to on-site books and resources, the library provides an online portal to thousands of research articles, e-books, and streaming media, with personalized assistance available from professional librarians. 

  • Access to over 200,000 ebooks and 170,000 streaming videos

Outdoor spaces

Soak up the beauty of campus outdoors in the:

  • Quad at the center of campus
  • Springwood Patio (outside the Graf Center)
  • Hayes Patio (lower level behind the building)
  • Whitewater Patio (outside the main lobby)
  • Tom Raper Patio (between the building and the path through the woods)
  • Student Event Center Patio
