Personalized guidance for your college career

Each semester, you'll chat with your advisor before registering for classes. Advisors:

  • help you complete your degree requirements and graduate on-time,
  • advise you on the best way to choose or change your major,
  • demystify any confusing academic jargon,
  • and point you to the right classes for your interests.

New students: the Office of Admissions will give you information about how to schedule your first advising appointment.

Current students: before the start of each semester, you'll get an email reminding you to schedule an appointment with your advisor. Schedule it asap so you can register early (and get the best classes and class times)!

Meet with your academic advisor

Schedule an appointment in One.IU with the Student Appointment Scheduler (SAS). You'll need to know your advisor's name, which can be found in Student Center.
