Trustees Award for Teaching Innovation

This award recognizes accomplishment and innovation in teaching by faculty members (lecturer, clinical, tenure-track) at IU East. Up to 7 awards will be granted each academic year.

Horizon Award for Excellence in Teaching

This award recognizes significant teaching accomplishments by an untenured faculty member (lecturer, clinical, tenure-track) during some or all of their first six years at IU East that clearly reflect a commitment to student success.

Helen Lees Distinguished Award for Excellence in Teaching

This award recognizes excellence in teaching by a full-time faculty member over a sustained period of time (7 years or more) that clearly reflects a commitment to student success.

Part-Time Instructor Excellence in Teaching

This award recognizes excellence in teaching by a part-time faculty member that clearly reflects a commitment to student success.

Distinguished Research/Creative Activity Award

This award recognizes excellence in research and/or creative work by a full-time faculty member over a sustained period of time (7 years or more).

Horizon Research/Creative Activity Award 

This award recognizes excellence in research and/or creative work by an untenured faculty member (lecturer, clinical, tenure-track) during some or all of their first six years at IU East.
